Mettler retires from Morgan Stanley

Stephen Mettler, global head of macro at Morgan Stanley in New York, has retired after 15 years with the bank, it emerged today.

Mettler joined Morgan Stanley in 1997, and his most recent role covered both interest rates and foreign exchange trading. He currently serves as Morgan Stanley's representative on the foreign exchange committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
