RBS confirms Corbett appointment in spot

St Paul's Cathedral in London

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has confirmed the appointment of Ged Corbett, formerly head of G-10 spot trading in London at Nomura.

As reported by FX Week in July, Corbett left his role at Nomura and was expected to join RBS, but the bank declined to comment at the time.

In his new role at RBS, Corbett will remain in London as a senior spot trader and will report locally to James Pearson, who himself joined RBS from Nomura earlier this year as global head of spot trading.
