Icap appoints head of futures and options from MF Global
Interdealer broker Icap has appointed Gary Pettit as global head of financial futures and options. Based in London, Pettit reports to Gary Smith, Icap's deputy chief executive for London and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Pettit was previously global head of futures and options at MF Global, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on October 31. Icap said last week it had hired 25 former MF Global staff across London, New York, Chicago
