Nomura hires Khakoo to head G-10 options


Nomura has appointed Nigel Khakoo as global head of G-10 foreign exchange options in London.

Khakoo replaces Bernd Broeker, who left his role as the bank’s head of FX options earlier this year and joined UniCredit last month as a consultant for the FX business in London.

In his new role, Khakoo will report locally to Steve Ashley, Nomura’s newly promoted global head of macro products. Ashley is effectively the bank’s FX business head, following the departure of Richard Gladwin, global head of FX
