BBVA gains FX salesman from HSBC
BBVA has appointed Steven McEvoy as executive director in institutional foreign exchange sales. Based in London, McEvoy reports locally to Luis Azofra, head of sales. He joins from HSBC, where he held a similar role.
BBVA has made a number of senior hires in FX this year, including Andrew Brown as global head of FX and Gerrard Katz as head of FX for Asia.
BBVA declined to comment on the hire.
