Swedbank hires Söderlund from BAML

Martin Söderlund is to join Swedbank in Stockholm, where he will work in foreign exchange sales to large clients and financial institutions, with a focus on emerging markets. He will start on October 1, the bank has confirmed, and will report to Matz Eriksson, head of FX sales in Stockholm.

Söderlund joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in London, where he was a director in the north European FX sales team. He joined BAML in 2010 and was previously a director at Royal Bank of Scotland
