BAML promotes Landes to head EMEA spot desk

Joe Landes, senior foreign exchange spot trader at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), has relocated from New York to London to become head of the FX spot desk for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In his new role, Landes will report locally to Chris Bae, head of FX trading for EMEA and co-head of global FX options. Landes joined Bank of America in 2007 from Dresdner Kleinwort, where he was a senior FX trader in New York.

BAML has seen a number of high-profile changes to its FX
