CIBC hires FX strategist in Hong Kong
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has appointed Patrick Bennett as an executive director and FX strategist, working in the macro strategy group in Hong Kong. In his new role, he will cover Asia-Pacific currencies and contribute to research on rates and markets.
Bennett will report jointly to Joanna Zapior, managing director and head of macro strategy in Toronto, and Andre LaJeunesse, managing director and head of capital markets trading, Asia, based in Hong Kong.
