HSBC gains and loses in FX sales

HSBC has appointed Alex Scountjos to its bank sales desk in London. He joins from Barclays Capital, where he worked in FX sales to hedge funds.

Scountjos will work on foreign exchange and commodities sales, with a focus on the UK, Greece and Cyprus. He will report locally to Chris de Sibert, head of FX and commodities sales to banks.
