Maasland to chair Saxo’s London board, amid flurry of promotions

Saxo Bank has made a number of senior promotions in London and Copenhagen as part of an effort to increase its scalability and prepare for an expansion into new geographies over the coming years.

Albert Maasland, chief executive of Saxo in London, will become chair of the board of the bank's London operations and will focus on a number of strategic business opportunities, including geographical expansion. He joined Saxo from Standard Chartered in 2007.
