BarCap’s O’Neill to take time out

Jim O'Neill, head of UK corporate distribution at Barclays Capital in London, is leaving the bank and plans to take some time out of the market, he has told FX Week.

O'Neill confirmed he had left Barclays Capital, although his contractual commitments run until the end of August. He has one month's gardening leave and will spend the next six months travelling and studying.
