Hoornweg takes on new role at UBS after senior departures

Roberto Hoornweg has stepped into the role of co-head of securities at UBS following the departure last month of Dimitrios Psyllidis, joint global head of fixed income, currencies and commodities (FICC) and global head of macro.

Hoornweg will be based in London and report to Carsten Kengeter, chief executive of the investment banking division. He joined UBS from Morgan Stanley in February 2010 when the Swiss bank was restructuring its fixed-income team. At that time, Psyllidis and Rajeev Misra
