Gain Capital hires chief commercial officer
Online trading provider Gain Capital has appointed Jeffrey Scott as chief commercial officer, effective February 28. Reporting to chief executive Glenn Stevens, Scott will be responsible for the firm's business operations. Previously, Scott was with market research firm Toluna and has also held senior positions at several digital media businesses. From 1999 to 2005, he worked with Thomson Financial, prior to its merger with Reuters.
