WestLB makes key trading hires

DUSSELDORF – WestLB has made two key hires to its trading desk in Düsseldorf as it looks to build up a client-focused trading business, a senior official has told FX Week.

Michael Droege started at the bank on February 1 in a newly created role as global head of spot trading. He comes from Commerzbank, which he joined through the acquisition of Dresdner Kleinwort, where he was a senior spot trader.
