Chan leaves StanChart

NEW YORK - Standard Chartered in New York has lost its head of foreign exchange options trading for the Americas, Steve Chan, according to market sources.

Chan's last day is believed to have been August 14 and his departure has left the bank short of senior options traders, local market sources tell FX Week. Until a replacement is appointed, Chan's duties are being overseen by Mohammed Grimeh, New York-based head of trading and deputy head of global markets for the Americas.
