Welsh makes a comeback

LONDON - Ben Welsh has returned to the financial markets, joining JP Morgan as the US bank looks to rebuild its proprietary trading team after a spate of departures last month.

Welsh started at the bank in London on September 2 in a proprietary trading role that will cover foreign exchange, rates and commodities, market sources have told FX Week. He has a local reporting line to Ray Eyles, global head of proprietary trading, metals and agricultural commodities.

The appointment comes after five
