Broom departs Citi

Richard Broom has emerged as another of the foreign exchange casualties from Citi's widespread job cuts.

Broom worked in the global bank's foreign exchange sales business in London. A source at the bank confirmed he left towards the end of November. This was around the same time the bank made other cuts in London, including Richard Evans, global head of electronic execution (FX Week, December 1).

The job losses all come on the back of Citi's plan to cut global headcount by 52,000
