Fildes to co-chair Fix steering committee

FIX Protocol (FPL) has named John Fildes as co-chair of its global steering committee (GSC), which is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational activities of FIX Protocol.

Fildes has been a member FPL's Asia-Pacific regional committee since 2000 and two years ago he was elected as its co-chair. In his new role, he will serve alongside Scott Atwell of American Century Investments.

Fildes is managing director of Instinet's Pacific region
