Banks slash jobs in FX

Banks such as Deutsche Bank, the Royal Bank of Scotland and JP Morgan made cuts in the US and Europe last week, while more news has emerged about redundancies at Morgan Stanley.

David Gratz, a corporate FX salesperson, Chris Bentley, a spot trader, and Marco Roberts, managing director and head of emerging markets, at Morgan Stanley in New York were all let go in recent weeks. Meanwhile, RBS is believed to have cut seven members of staff in the US: five in emerging markets and two in FX sales. JP
