It is thought that Hamilton reported to Simon Hards, who runs global exotics in London under Gordon Wallace, London-based head of FX options trading.
The reputed loss follows the resignation of FX salesperson to southern Europe Guillermo Cebrian Perez-Yarza from Credit Suisse's London office last month (FX Week, June 30). He had worked in FX sales to southern Europe since May last year, and was most recently understood to be focusing on sales to Spain and Portugal.
