Bank of Boston Tests Merging U.S. Back-Office, Not Trading Desks

Bank of Boston International has recently begun a feasibility study to determine whether it can effectively merge its U.S. foreign exchange and money market support operations into one center, its Boston headquarters, according to sources at the bank. A bank spokesperson did not return calls.
