Reuters Hits Earnings Plateau Despite Growth Of FX Systems

Reuters Holdings PLC earnings appears to have hit a plateau, given its most recent half-year report. Although Reuters managed to post a modest gain in pre-tax profit in the first half of the year, the increase was largely attributed to the strength of the pound, which contributed £8 million to its bottom line. Outright sales revenue actually slipped despite the apparent growth of its FX Dealing systems.
