New Jersey-based First Fidelity Bank, N.A., recently hired Richard Marquit, as senior vice president, responsible for its foreign exchange operations. According to officials at the bank, Marquit will make an effort to expand its corporate desk, rather than increase its presence in the interbank market. Marquit was previously foreign exchange manager at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc.
