Ed McGowan
joined Bank Julius Baer on April 25 as a vice president/senior dealer on the spot desk, reporting to chief dealer David Taylor. He will be responsible for GBP, AUD and NZD trading.

McGowan joins from AIG International in Greenwich Connecticut, where he has worked for the last 10 years.

Marc Linnan, deputy head of global foreign exchange in New York said: "McGowan is the eighth and final recruit for our trading desk, which covers G7 and emerging markets during the New York and Asia
