LONDON -- Confirmation of plans for the rumoured Atriax internet FX trading system is expected soon, possibly this week, banking industry sources told FX Week.

The existence of the Atriax project, which is allegedly run by a consortium that includes Chase, Citibank, Deutsche Bank and information provider Reuters, is widely regarded as a fact in the banking industry, and bankers say the system is already being marketed.
