StanChart boosts FX derivatives


HONG KONG -- UK-based emerging markets specialist Standard Chartered Bank has bolstered its Hong Kong-based foreign exchange and derivatives group by hiring Christopher de la Hoyde and John Tan.

De la Hoyde, formerly chief dealer at HSBC in Hong Kong, joins as head of foreign exchange, North Asia. Meanwhile, Tan was appointed head of trading, in charge of foreign exchange, money-market instruments and off-balance sheet trading. He was previously at Deutsche Bank in the centre.
