Barclays Appoints New Global FX Options Chief In London

LONDON--Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank, has appointed Areski Iberrakene, as global head of foreign exchange options in London.
Iberrakene started last week. He replaces Paul Abbenhaus, who returned to the US in March to pursue other interests, said a spokesperson at the time. He was hired from Bankers Trust, and prior to that was an options trader at Commerzbank.
In his new position, he will head up the bank's global options team of around eight trading staff based
