Macquarie Shifts Remainder Of FX Operation From London To Sydney

Macquarie Bank has shifted the last of its London-based FX operation to its headquarters in Sydney, says Guy Reynolds, division director of treasury and commodities in Sydney. The decision to transfer the spot sales desk is designed to strengthen Macquarie's 24-hour interbank function in Sydney and is part of the bank's strategic push into the rapidly expanding Asian market, adds Reynolds.

Justin Rooney, FX manager in London, will transfer to Sydney on August 1, and FX sales dealer Stephen Burn
