Europe's Exchanges Enter Alliance With Link To CME's New Globex2


PARIS--Europe's derivatives exchanges have taken a further step towards integration, with a deal struck between Matif, Monep (the French equity derivatives exchange) and the eight-year-old Spanish electronic exchange, Meff. The exchanges are joining forces to create Euro Globex, a partnership which will link their electronic trading platforms.

The latest alliance will enable cross trading of contracts on each of the exchanges with an electronic link between Meff's Smart trading platform and Matif
