Merrill Hires In FX Sales And Expands Local Markets FX

LONDON -- US investment bank Merrill Lynch in London has hired two in senior FX sales, and several emerging markets dealers to expand the local markets group.

Graham Edwards, head of European FX sales in London, told FX Week the hires are part of a long-term process of expanding Merrill Lynch's FX presence in "potential growth areas". He said the bank was able to take advantage of one recent banking-merger to hire new dealers.
