Reuters' Q1 Revenues Grow 7 Per Cent, But Dealing 2000-2 Products Prove Slow

LONDON--Reuters reports first quarter revenues for its transaction products--including its Dealing 2000 range--increased 5 per cent year-on-year to £212 million ($354 million), from £203 million ($339 million) in the first quarter of 1997, at actual rates of exchange. Instinet, Reuters' agency brokerage service for global equities and securities, continues to be the strongest component of the transaction products range, showing an 11 per cent increase in quarterly revenues, at actual rates.
