Reuters Transaction Products Help Fuel Revenue Increase

DEALING & NETTING

Reuters Holdings reported a revenue rise of 25 per cent for the third quarter, largely on the back of increases in income from electronic transaction products. Revenues rose from 1993's £472 million to £590 million in this year's quarter, while nine-month revenues climbed 23 per cent from £1.37 billion in 1993 to £1.68 billion this year. The company, which began issuing quarterly reports this year, only reports profits for the half and full year.
