DrKW hires former Merrill boss

The bank has named three co-heads of capital markets to work under Bellotti: Tarek Mahmoud, who is also head of sales and marketing; Erich Pohl, responsible for rates, short-term products and treasury, and who is also chairman of DrKW in Germany and group treasurer of Dresdner Bank; and David Wenman, who is responsible for equities.

"These changes will enhance DrKW's competitive position and help drive forward our profitability," said Andrew Pisker, chief executive of DrKW in London.
