World Bank CFO moves on

Gary Perlin

is to leave his job as chief financial officer of the World Bank, effective June 30, to join Virginia-based credit-card giant Capital One Financial as chief financial officer. The World Bank said managing director Jeffrey Goldstein will succeed Perlin.

Goldstein joined the World Bank in September 1999 as a managing director and has been responsible for all its finance, strategy and budget functions. He also oversees its financial sector operations in client
