LB nabs Goldman sales chief

He is set to join rival Lehman Brothers in October in a new position as head of European FX sales.

A spokesperson for Goldman Sachs declined to comment on its plans to replace Burton, who joined the bank in 1994 from Midland Global Markets, now part of HSBC.

At Lehman, Burton will report to Riccardo Banchetti, head of European fixed income sales. The addition is the latest in a string of hires at the bank, which has been expanding in foreign exchange since Grant Whiteside took over as global
