HSBC hires new Asian FX strategist
He will be responsible for currency strategy for Asia-Pacific, Japan and Australasia, reporting to Mike Newton, global head of emerging markets currency strategy and Mark Austin, global head of currency strategy, in London. Yetsenga, who will also report locally to Arup Raha, chief economist for Asia, is a direct replacement for Mike Newton, who recently moved to the bank's New York office (FX Week, October 25).
