StanChart China head resigns

Wong has been with the bank since 1997 joining as head of consumer banking and three years later was named chief executive officer. He has also represented Standard Chartered as chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Banks.

Peter Sullivan, previously deputy chief executive for Hong Kong, has replaced Wong. Prior to becoming deputy chief executive, Sullivan was chief executive of Standard Chartered's Africa business based in London. He will report to Kai Nargolwala, a main board director with
