Increased flow from institutional clients came largely as a result of the addition of a dedicated global head for fund sales, said John Glover, head of FX and short-term capital markets in London.

"We have had sales people speaking to the fund management sector for several years but it has become a much stronger focus since Michael Gibbens’ hire," said Glover. Gibbens joined in Toronto in April from Bank of America where he was head of Canadian institutional sales.
