HBOS names new treasury head as senior exec resigns

Mackay, who retains his former role as head of funding and liquidity at HBOS in London, takes over Woodbridge’s duties, which include responsibility for the bank’s FX trading and sales operations.

Woodbridge resigned last week to seek "a senior appointment outside the group", an HBOS spokesperson said.

The spokesperson thanked Woodbridge for his role in the smooth integration of Halifax and Bank of Scotland’s treasury divisions last year.
