
RJ O’Brien buys Zap Futures
Under the terms of the agreement, which was effective on March 1, Zap Futures’ founder and president William Kaiser and his partner chief operating officer Rick Gallwas now manage RJO Futures, the retail division of RJ O’Brien, and will play an integral role in developing products for the firm’s introducing broker network.
All 18 Zap staff will be offered new roles, although most of Zap’s FX business is sales-orientated and there are few FX-specific staff, said Colleen Mitchell, president of RJO
