RBS closes trading desk in Edinburgh
The bank dissolved the Edinburgh team, which comprised four FX traders and two money markets traders. RBSoffered staff new roles, said the spokesperson. But chief dealer Jim Kerr, who reported to global FX head David White, has already left the bank, said sources on the Edinburgh dealing floor.
RBS has a 27-strong FX and money markets sales team in Edinburgh to manage Scottish clients.
