Chief investment officer for currency says FX Global Code of Conduct embodies good fiduciary standards

Ian Battye, chief investment officer for currency at Russell Investments, has called on his fellow market participants to commit to the FX Global Code of Conduct to demonstrate they are acting in a fiduciary manner towards their clients.

Battye recently authored a blog post on the investment management firm’s website, asking why other currency market providers are “unwilling to sign” up to the Code when its principles promote good practice in the marketplace.
