A successful implementation of the fiscal stimulus proposed by US president-elect Donald Trump during his campaign could see the dollar motor higher in the short term, but longer-term prospects will remain dependent on whether the policies are efficient in distributing wealth across the range of social strata, says Mark McCormick, North American head of foreign exchange strategy at TD Securities, the winner of FX Week's three-month forecast rankings.
