Citi launches Japan desk in India
The desk will provide foreign exchange services, along with cash management, trade financing and lending, to Japanese companies and joint ventures. Foreign exchange and derivatives are some of the most important product sets offered, said a spokesperson for the bank in Mumbai. Forex transactions done through Citi in India include spot, forwards and options.
The desk, which is still in early development, consists of Japanese expatriates and initially will serve as a Japanese language interface
