Investors turn to FX-only funds

A survey of 2,000 investors tracked by the company revealed 15% stated foreign exchange was a strategic preference in terms of potential hedge fund investments. "This has risen from roughly 5% two years ago and we expect the percentage to grow again in 2009," said Amy Bensted, spokesperson for Preqin Hedge in London. "Many investors are turning to these strategies to protect assets."
