Reuters Seeks Broker Listing With BOFE For Operation Of Dealing 2000-2 System

Reuters Holdings PLC is "in discussions with the Bank of England over the possibility of a listing as a foreign exchange broker under Section 43 of the Financial Services Act" to permit supervised operation of its yet-unreleased Dealing 2000-2 electronic broking system, according to company spokesman Peter Griffith. "We are discussing the modalities of such a listing with the supervisory authorities," he says.
