A disgruntled Reuters field engineer apparently tampered with Triarch data distribution systems servers at five Hong Kong-based banks last month. The engineer reportedly deleted the Triarch operating systems at Standard Chartered, NatWest Markets, Jardine Fleming and two banks that could not be identified by press time. Working with the affected clients, Reuters staff rectified the damage without any commercial or data loss to clients, according to officials at both Reuters and its clients
