Manny Hanny Set To Go Live In Tokyo With FXNET May 20

Manufacturers Hanover Trust is set to go live in Tokyo with FXNET May 20, according to Peter Bartko, chairman of the bilateral foreign exchange netting service. Manufacturers will be the first bank to use the system in Japan.

Although Manufacturers had originally planned to go live in February, equipment delivery and staff training delayed the start, says Dennis Oakley, managing director at Manufacturers Hanover in Tokyo. He says that Citibank, First Interstate Bank of California and Lloyds Bank
