Creditanstalt Pumps Up New York FX Desk Three New Traders, Several New Currencies

Looking to raise its profile in the North American foreign exchange interbank market, Austrianbased Creditanstalt Bankverein has recently doubled its New York trading operation with the addition of three new traders.
"Now I think we have the people in place whereby we can have a fairly decent presence in the marketplace," says Larry Ryan, senior vice president and foreign exchange manager at Creditanstalt.
