The CME reports total currency futures volume was 1,558,886 contracts traded in February, compared with 1,696,396 in February last year. Average daily volume was 82,047 and open interest was 449,884 positions at month-end. Total currency options volume fell 38 per cent year-on-year to 181,269 contracts, compared with 291,624 a year ago. Average daily volume was 9,540 contracts and open interest stood at 204,675 at month-end.
